SUGAR SCRUBS are great in many ways. They are inexpensive to make, provide a quick, fun way to spend some time with your kids, and there are so many options to add a little fun both in making them and using them, that they are sure to be a hit with your kids!

Here’s a couple of easy recipes for Sugar Scrubs.

OVER THE RAINBOW SUGAR SCRUB RECIPE

• 1 c. Fine Ground Sugar

• 1/4 c. Carrier Oil

• 1–2 drops Essential Oil

• Natural Food Coloring

• Glass Bowls – one for each color you will make

• Glass Jars for storage

Place a cup of Sugar in each bowl. Add drops of Food Coloring to each bowl of Sugar and mix until combined well. Add one to two drops of your chosen Essential Oil to each bowl and stir again until combined well. Add the Carrier Oil a little at a time until the sugar starts to clump together—you may end up using less than 1/4 cup.

Once combined, start layering different colors into the jars until full. For extra fun, add little toys while you’re filling the jars!

• 1–2 drops Essential Oil

• Natural Green Jell Food Coloring

• 1/8 c. Organic Cocoa Powder

Combine Sugar, Carrier Oil, and Essential Oils and set aside. In a separate bowl, place the Cocoa Powder and add in the Sugar mixture until all Cocoa is mixed and the mixture begins to stick together. With the remaining Sugar mixture, add in your Gel Food Coloring until you have a nice, bright, green color. Place the Cocoa mixture into the bottom of your jar and then layer the Green Sugar mixture on top.
